
For the fourth consecutive year, a Regent Seven Seas Cruises world cruise sold out in record time, with the cruise fully reserved ahead of the official opening for bookings on June 15, 2022.
It underscores that for some, the cost of living crisis is something that happens to other people.
The 2025 cruise, which at 150 nights is the longest in Regent’s history, had prices starting at £69,389 ($85,000) per guest for a Deluxe Veranda Suite and £191,949 ($237,000) per guest for the “Luxurious Luxury” a master suite. Seven Seas Mariner’s global cruise has been reserved by “loyal past guests” as well as over a third of guests who will relive Regent’s “unmatched experience”.

Seven Seas Mariner’s world cruise is 150 nights
The cruise line said that while demand was strong in all suite categories, the ship’s Distinctive Suites were the first to sell out as guests requested higher-end accommodations.
“We have generated unprecedented interest in this sailing and this phenomenal booking record shows once again that people, like the world itself, are now open to travel and will not wait and let opportunity pass,” said Jason Montague, President and Chief Executive Officer of Regent Seven Seas Cruises. “It’s remarkable that luxury travelers still want to sign up or stay on the waiting list in case some guests cancel their reservation between now and sailing in two and a half years – people just want to explore as much as possible.”

Regent announced that it has “curated incredible ashore experiences for luxury travelers, from 395 complimentary shore excursions to 16 nights in port, enabling extensive exploration of fascinating locations like Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Bora Bora, French Polynesia; and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam”.
The itinerary provides access to 48 Unesco World Heritage Sites such as Rapa Nui National Park from Easter Island’s Hanga Roa and the Sydney Opera House.
Guests can add an additional 18-night cruise to World Cruise 2025, with approximately 25 percent of guests taking up this option.

The Sydney Opera House will be one of the main landmarks on the itinerary, which also includes a full crossing of the Panama Canal
The additional voyage sails the Mexican Riviera from San Francisco to Miami, visiting ports in Costa Rica, Colombia and more, along with a full transit of the Panama Canal.
Montague continued, “We have great news for those guests who have unfortunately not had their 2025 World Cruise booking confirmed due to high demand, as we will be opening early reservation requests on July 6, 2022 for our 2024-2025 Legendary Journeys Collection. Offering longer cruises of up to 83 nights through the Arctic, Asia, Australia and the Mediterranean, these Grand Voyages will officially go on sale July 20th.’
Regent previously broke its world cruise opening day record in July 2021, when the cruise line’s 2024 World Cruise went on sale.
