The report adds that Dybala is currently flying to Portugal for his medical – where Roma are currently in pre-season before joining boss Jose Mourinho and his new team-mates.
Corriere dello Sport revealed over the weekend that the Portuguese manager personally called Dybala a week ago to persuade him to join.
And it seems the conversation was crucial for Dybala as Mourinho explained Roma’s project to him, with now all that’s missing is the final signature.
The former Spurs boss appeared to be urging director Tiago Pinto to make a crucial move – and within the next 24 hours, Pinto presented Roma’s offer to the player’s agents.
It seemed like Dybala was ready for a move to last season’s Serie A runners-up Inter Milan.

However, this move later fell through due to requests from Dybala’s agents and the need to sell either Edin Dzeko or Joaquin Correa after Romelu Lukaku’s arrival.
The delay opened the door for Roma, with Mourinho pushing hard to seal the move for the five-time Serie A winner.
It continues the Italian side’s push to close their deal early in the transfer window, with Zeki Celik, Nemanja Matic and Mile Svilar already coming through the door.
Dybala scored 115 goals for Juventus in 293 appearances in all competitions during his seven years at Allianz Stadium.
He won five Serie A titles at the club, along with four Coppa Italia crowns.
