Manchester United have unveiled their new white away kit for the 2022-23 season, with players taking to Federation Square in Melbourne to present their new kit.
Luke Shaw, Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes, Jadon Sancho and Scott McTominay were all present at the Australia event to promote their new kit during their pre-season tour of Australia.
First unveiled on social media on Saturday morning, the shirt is said to be “inspired” by the club’s philosophy of “youth, courage and success”.

Similar to the home kit, the design of the new away kit has a retro feel, with the club crest inserted into a shield reminiscent of the kit worn during the 1998-99 Champions League winning campaign.
It is the first time since the 2015-16 season that they wear a white away kit.
United will wear their new away kit for the first time when they play Crystal Palace in Melbourne on Tuesday.
As reported by the BBC, Rashford said: “It’s a classic kit. It brings back many memories of the past – many successful times for the club.
“Our job is to make those memories come true again.”

Crowds turned out to see United stars present the new kit during Saturday afternoon’s event in Melbourne.
There was a mix-up when the players were introduced on stage, with one of the presenters initially calling Sancho, only for the other to then bring Fernandes onto the stage.
United’s unveiling of the new kit on social media was well received by their supporters, with many calling the new kit ‘beautiful’.

One fan asked, “Where’s Eriksen or Martinez in the kits?”
The Red Devils announced Christian Eriksen’s free transfer on Friday.
Lisandro Martinez, meanwhile, has flown to the UK to complete his £46m move from Ajax.
The club are hoping to make progress this season in their first season under new coach Erik ten Hag.
