Manchester United Legend Roy Keane has tipped Manchester City to wriggle Liverpool to the Premier League title next season.
Pep Guardiola’s side won and lost the title in dramatic fashion last season AstonVilla 3-2 on the final day of play to beat the Reds by just a point from the trophy.
Together, City and Liverpool have won the last five Premier League titles. However, many of the pursuers have made huge improvements to their squads in the current transfer window.

Tottenham have made five additions to support Antonio Conte’s demands, Chelsea have signed Raheem Sterling for £50m while Arsenal have also completed City striker Gabriel Jesus’ coup to bolster his attack.
However, Keane doesn’t see a Premier League rival putting a gauntlet on City or Liverpool next season.
Speak with heaven bet, he said: “I don’t think they will close the gap. I think they will be a little bit better. You have quality and you have the recruitment but you can’t look beyond Liverpool and Man City.

And the United legend was clear Guardiola’s side were his fantasy following the arrest of striker Erling Haaland.
He said: “Brilliant players, they’ve obviously improved with an incredible striker [Haaland] and they have one of the greatest managers of all time in Pep [Guardiola].’

Meanwhile, despite high expectations ahead of the summer, Keane’s former club Manchester United have only signed one deal following the appointment of manager Erik ten Hag.
The Red Devils have struggled to get deals over the line in the window, with Dutch left-back Tyrell Malacia the only signing so far.
United beat Liverpool 4-0 in the opening game of pre-season earlier this week, although Keane believes it will be some time before his former side challenge the Premier League’s upper echelons again.

He added: “The manager will no doubt have money to spend as he recruits, four or five experienced players have left the club which I think is a good thing.
“But I still don’t see United competing with Liverpool and Manchester City, not yet.”
