Manchester United fans have urged Erik ten Hag to give younger players more minutes

One fan took to Twitter to plan Ten Hag’s selection for the Palace game, saying: “Will this be our starting midfield this season because I’m tired of seeing this trio in midfield…”.
Another added: “I hate seeing the same midfield I swear.” While another said: “The youngsters should be given more time”.
One supporter took to Twitter to say: “I don’t know why we continue to field our first team instead of giving young players a chance… Garnacho still hasn’t gotten a single minute and we always start friendlies with our main players.. .’.
United fans were particularly disappointed that Garner was left out of the matchday squad altogether. Some questioned if the 21-year-old was injured while others demanded that Ten Hag reconsider his options.
One fan wrote: “What’s wrong with Garner? is he hurt He’s been training, why isn’t he playing? And why doesn’t ten Hag ever mix it up? While another added: “Garner not even on the bench ffs”.

Several fans also took to social media to vent their frustration at Ten Hag’s decision to bench Garnacho. One supporter asked, “Why didn’t Garnacho play?”, while another fan wrote, “Please give Garnacho minutes, thanks.”
Manchester United have had a successful pre-season tour so far, beating Liverpool 4-0 and Melbourne Victory 4-1.
However, Hannibal has not yet performed for United during their pre-season tour of Thailand and Australia.
Ten Hag seems more focused on watching Charlie Savage and Iqbal Zidane instead.
Savage worked his way up the squad when Garner tapped early at the start of United’s training camp.

Speaking of his injury, Garner said: “Unfortunately I picked up a small injury on day one which has set me back so far.
“I’ve been to the gym and will be back in training from Monday so hopefully I’ll get a chance to play.”
Meanwhile, Garnacho’s pitching time has also been limited during United’s pre-season tour – despite receiving minutes against Chelsea and Crystal Palace last season.
However, Ten Hag has previously said he will give every United player the opportunity to show him what he can do.
“I want to get an impression of all the players and they get a chance to show what they can do [do] and what they are capable of,” he said.
“If they can contribute to Manchester United or maybe a loan is better. There are other possibilities too, but it’s good that United have some talent, but you also see that you have to improve and develop.’
Manchester United are still set to face Aston Villa, Atletico Madrid and Rayo Vallecano during their pre-season tour.
