Chelsea have made a £40m offer for Paris St Germain centre-back Presnel Kimpembe and are back in talks with Sevilla over Jules Kounde, who is a target for Barcelona to.
Thomas Tuchel is looking to strengthen his defense this summer and has focused on the French centre-back after signing the French centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly from Naples.

He has already worked with Thomas Tuchel during the German’s two-and-a-half-year tenure at the Parc des Princes.
After the departures of Antonio Rüdiger and Andreas Christensen as well as Cesar Azpilicueta, who is also looking for a change, Tuchel needs reinforcements in the central defender.
Kimpembe has spent his entire career at PSG, joining PSG aged nine and making 221 appearances for the club to date.
