Corresponding SPORTSThe Catalan giants are preparing for an official bid for Koundé and are ready to include winger Abdessamad ‘Abde’ Ezzalzouli and midfielder Nico Gonzalez in the deal.
The two players have been deemed redundant following their recent spending spree at the Nou Camp – and could be used to lower the centre-back’s price tag.
Sevilla have offered a fee of between 60 and 65 million euros for the France international – a fee Barcelona are not willing to pay in money alone.
Memphis Depay was offered to the club earlier this week but his cost is too high for Sevilla and the player isn’t interested in a move to Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán.

Chelsea also had long-term ambitions to sign the Frenchman and had reached an agreement in principle last summer before disagreements over the fee erupted between the two clubs.
The Blues have been heavily linked with a move to central defence, particularly after losing to Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger on free transfers to Barcelona and Real Madrid respectively.
Although Chelsea continue to keep their eye on the Sevilla ace Chelsea appear to be turning their attention elsewhere with Juventus’ Matthijs de Ligt on the club’s radar, but it is Chelsea’s pursuit of Nathan Ake that could pave the way for City to start Kounde in the race.
