Tottenham Hotspur aren’t the only team to suffer after this in the preseason Atlético Madrid star Anton Griezmann was spotted looking completely exhausted as he took part in a brutal training session in Spain.
Like Spurs boss Antonio Conte, Diego Simeone has put his Atletico players through hell to improve their fitness for the new campaign, tricking them into participating in a grueling cardio exercise called ‘Murder Hill’.
The Spanish side is currently based in The angel de San Rafael and in the mountains towards Segovia for a traditional two-week training camp and it seemed some players were struggling with the demands more than others.

During the energy-zapping exercise, Griezmann, 31, was filmed trudging down the hill in question, wincing while trying to catch his breath, followed by his team-mates.
The rigorous session, which sees Atletico players sprint up a 50-metre slope with a 30 percent gradient behind the training ground, was specially developed by the club’s fitness coach, Oscar Ortega.
Known as “El Profe,” Ortega built the artificial ramp to improve the team’s fitness in preparation for the new season in August.
The video of Griezmann struggling to catch his breath comes days after Harry Kane was seen throwing up on the sidelines after a brutal training session that also saw Son Heung-min exhausted in a heap on the pitch remained on the ground.
