Ajax is about to finalize a deal ranger Left-back Calvin Bassey.
The two clubs have agreed an entry fee of £19m plus £4.25m in add-ons.
Bassey made a breakthrough in Amsterdam last season, making 50 appearances in all competitions as the Dutch side clinched their 36th Eredivisie title.

The defender’s crowning moment of last season was the Scottish Cup final, when he helped the Gers beat Hearts 2-0 in extra time as man of the match.
Bassey also put in an outstanding performance in Rangers’ Europa League final defeat by Eintracht Frankfurt in May, catching the eye of several top clubs across Europe.
Ajax are on the verge of selling centre-back Lisandro Martinez to Manchester United for a fee of around £46m, which is likely to be used to fund the Bassey transfer.

Brighton have also been keen to sign the Ibrox star, with Albion’s left-back Marc Cucurella a long-standing summer transfer target for champions Manchester City.
Former Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has also been keeping a close eye on Bassey at Aston Villa, although the defender now appears to be on his way to Holland.
The Scottish giants signed Bassey on the cheap from Leicester City in 2020, parting with just £230,000 to get his signature.
