Yazmin Oukhellou has broken her silence on the horror car crash in Turkey that tragically killed her boyfriend Jake McLean.
That TOWIE Star, 28, sustained serious arm injuries in the crash in the early hours of July 3.
And now Yazmin has revealed she intentionally broke her trapped arm to escape the impact and rush for help – while Jake lay unconscious in the Mercedes.

In conversation with The sunYazmin said, “I didn’t want to admit to myself that he might be dead.
“So I thought, ‘Right, I can either lie still and bleed to death or break my own arm to try to save us – I didn’t have a choice.’
At the time, Yazmin didn’t realize she had opened an artery but revealed that she was covered in blood as she lay upside down in the car.
She added: “Somehow I ripped my arm out of sheer adrenaline and panic, I climbed out of the car and kind of held my arm together with my left hand.”

Yazmin said she made sure Jake was still alive when she ran to the top of the bench they had rolled down and yelled for help.
Luckily, a man walking his dog found her immediately and rushed to the car to help, but unfortunately it was already too late by the time Yazmin said she couldn’t feel Jake’s pulse.
Yazmin said the grief and shock caused her to need therapy and she has not left her mother Lisa’s side since the accident.
The reality star also confirmed the pair were currently traveling but flew to Turkey in hopes they could reconcile and recalled how the trip made things “perfect” between them.

The television personality was on holiday with Jake in the resort of Bodrum, where the horrific incident took place.
Jake and Yazmin were driving in a blue Mercedes E-Class sedan down a windy, mountainous road between the coastal town of Bodrum and the seaside town of Yalikavak as they returned from an overnight trip.
The accident happened around 4:30 a.m. and investigators have determined that the car spun about 70 feet over a left hand bend and landed in a ravine nearly 30 feet below.

Jake was pronounced dead at the scene while Yazmin was taken to the hospital where her injured arm was treated.
After the accident, she climbed through dense, thorny bushes to stop a passing motorist for help.
A source told MailOnline last week that Yazmin was left heartbroken: “Yaz cannot feel any sense of relief at having her heart ripped in two over Jake’s death.
“She still can’t come to terms with what happened.”

Jake, 33, – who was previously dating former TOWIE star Lauren Goodger – was driving at the time of the accident.
Yazmin suffered serious injuries but pulled himself out of the wreck to get help.
Her mother flew out in the days after the crash to support her daughter in her recovery at Acibadem Hospital in Bodrum before taking her home.

Meanwhile, MailOnline reckons Yazmin could face a police quiz in the coming days amid reports of the moments leading up to the crash.
She was reportedly arguing with Jake yesterday when her car crashed.
The claims were made by his mother, Anita Walsh, who expressed her concerns to prosecutors investigating the crash that killed her son in Bodrum, Turkey.
Anita told prosecutors that because of his driving skills, Jake would not have lost control of the car as it went out of a curve on a mountainous road.
An assistant prosecutor, who cannot be named under Turkish law, told MailOnline on July 6: “We spoke to Jake’s mother and she told us that something was going on in the car that distracted him.
“She doesn’t think this accident was caused by his bad driving. She said he was a very skilled and experienced driver and that’s why he didn’t lose control of the car.”
The DA’s office is investigating whether Jake was driving while drunk. The on-off couple argued outside a club just before the crash at 3am Sunday.

Jake and Yazmin are said to have met in May last year before she revealed their relationship on Instagram in December in a clip that showed the couple kissing.
But she split from him just a month later after he was reportedly caught “acting single” while on holiday in Dubai, leaving a club alone with Love Island ex Ellie Jones.
The couple were still believed to be separated when the crash happened on Sunday. Friends say they’re not sure what the couple were up to together in Turkey, but perhaps they were there to sign some sort of business deal.
A source told MailOnline: “It is a complete tragedy and a total loss of life. Everyone is in shock and hoping Yazmin makes a full recovery.
