
Horror as a woman’s body is found on a popular footpath in an affluent Sydney suburb – while police launch an investigation into the death and try to identify her
The body of a woman was found along a firebreak Sydney‘s affluent upper north coast.
Officials found the woman, who is believed to be in her 40s, just before 1 p.m. Thursday near Cliff Oval, a popular sports ground in North Wahroonga.
“Around 12:40 p.m. (Thursday, July 14, 2022), officers from the Kuring Gai Police Area Command were called to Cliff Oval on Daly Ave, North Wahroonga after a body was reportedly found,” a NSW said a police spokeswoman.
“Police have found the body of a woman on a nearby fire trail.
“She has yet to be formally identified but is believed to be in her 40s.
“A crime scene has been established and an investigation into the circumstances of the woman’s death has been launched.”
