FoxNews Host Tucker Carlson has claimed this President Joe Biden takes “pills” to boost his cognitive performance before public appearances.
Biden, 79, has vigorously denied similar allegations in the past, but Carlson claimed on his Friday night show he spoke “directly” to a witness who saw the alleged drugs on the 2020 campaign trail.
“His staff, led by Dr. Jill, his wife, gave him pills before every public appearance. Check the time and give him a dose of something at a certain hour,” Carlson said.
“Prior to taking the medication, this person said Biden was ‘like a little kid.’ They couldn’t communicate with him, he completely changed because he was on drugs and he’s clearly still on drugs,” the expert claimed.

Biden is seen on the campaign trail in Iowa in 2019. He has strenuously denied claims that he is taking cognitive boosters, and his medical report lists no such drugs
Carlson’s unproven claim came during a lengthy monologue in which he argued that Biden was “disabled” and suffering from “dementia.”
A White House spokesman did not immediately respond to a request from DailyMail.com late Friday.
According to that latest report From his White House doctor, Biden takes prescription medication for an irregular heartbeat, high cholesterol, and seasonal allergies.
None of these drugs are considered cognitive enhancers.
White House Physician Kevin C. O’Connor made no mention of any cognitive issues in the November report, writing that Biden is “capable of successfully carrying out the duties of the presidency.”
In the 2020 primary, Biden managed to prevail against a crowded field of Democrats.
He stumbled in some debates, but many critics wrote that he improved as the debates progressed. His rivals eventually supported him en masse after being defeated.
Still, Biden has had a lifelong history of verbal gaffes, and as he nears 80, even some Democratic strategists have begun to question whether he should seek re-election.
If re-elected, Biden would be 86 at the end of his second term.
Carlson, a harsh critic of the Biden administration, is not the only Republican to accuse Biden of using cognitive enhancement drugs.
During the 2020 campaign, Donald Trump repeatedly claimed without evidence that Biden was using drugs, saying in an interview, “That’s what I’m hearing.”

Carlson claimed the first lady monitored Biden’s medications, although he may have mockingly referred to her use of the Dr. prefix, which refers to her Ed.D degree

Trump, who also accused Biden of drug use, once repeated the words “person, woman, man, camera, television” multiple times to demonstrate his mental acuity
‘There may be drugs involved. That’s what I hear,” Trump said in September 2020, weeks before Biden won the presidential election.
“I mean, there may be drugs. I don’t know how you can be that bad where you can’t even get a sentence out,” Trump continued.
The 76-year-old Trump also asked himself questions about his mental fitness during the 2020 election campaign.
In a memorable television interview, he repeatedly repeated the words “person, woman, man, camera, television” to demonstrate his mental acuity.
Carlson’s claim about Biden’s fitness comes as the president embarks on a four-day tour of the Middle East with stops in Israel and Saudi Arabia.
The trip was originally intended to be attached to a visit to Europe last month, but that New York Times reported that the resulting 10-day schedule could be unnecessarily taxing for Bide — or “crazy,” as an outlet official said.

Biden recently fell off his bike during a ride near his Delaware beach house and then hopped around to prove he wasn’t injured in the accident
Staffers told the Times they hold their breath during Biden’s speeches to see if he makes it to the end without a single mistake.
His presidency has seen several gaffes at events, including recently when he appeared to be reading speaking instructions from his teleprompter.
Last month he fell off his bike while riding near his Delaware beach house and then hopped around to prove he wasn’t injured in the accident.
The Times reported that staff cringed at the coverage of the story of the bike crash, saying many insisted the president remain sharp-witted and curious.
Aides claim Biden’s health is a “sensitive issue” across the White House.
However, more than a dozen current and former senior officials and advisers have “consistently reported” that Biden is mentally preoccupied in his role as president.
They told the Times he asks “smart questions” at meetings, vets his staff on issues and helps them fix weaknesses in his speeches.
