A two-year-old girl is fighting for her life after falling into a fountain during a family trip to the park.
Little Grace Lear disappeared when her family turned their backs on her “for a few seconds” and was later found in the water by bystanders.
Hannah, 30, had taken her daughter Grace and son Noah to a local park to play with a friend and her children when the tragedy struck.
Hannah said the group was distracted for a moment when her husband Sam, 31, arrived and Grace disappeared from view unnoticed.
They immediately started screaming and searching Fishpond Park, Griffithstown, Pontypool before another park visitor found Grace in a fountain.

A passer-by spotted the toddler in the fountain at Fishpond Park and, along with three other Good Samaritans, performed CPR on little Grace before an ambulance arrived
Hannah said: “Around 4.30pm Grace’s father arrived with our youngest boy Benjamin.
“He brought him to our small group and in the split seconds that our attention was on us, Grace was gone.
“She hadn’t been missing a minute when we looked up and saw that she was gone.
“Our group ran in all directions of the park calling her name and asking everyone we passed, but to no avail.
“I was just walking back to the lawn we had been on and a gentleman shouted to call an ambulance.”
The man and three other bystanders began CPR before an ambulance arrived.
Hannah said: “Within 10 minutes they just managed to get her back.
“About a minute later the ambulances, the police and the two helicopters arrived and everyone started working hard on her and doing everything for her.”

Grace was taken to the University Hospital of Wales before being transferred to Leicester for a cardiopulmonary bypass.
Hannah said: “I can’t begin to tell you how scared and heartbroken we were and are.
“Currently Grace is stable but very, very bad.
“She’s the sickest child on the ward, which is why we were moved to Leicester.
“She is on full life support and last night she had a heart and lung bypass.
“We literally take it with her hour after hour.”
A donation page has been launched to help the family while they stay at Grace’s bedside.
Organizer Emily Ostler said: “I would like to arrange some donations to help make this extremely difficult situation for the family a little easier.

“The costs of transport, food, expenses, etc. add up.”
Thanking all well-wishers for their support, Hannah said: “So many people have taken such care of her and shown what a great community Griffithstown is at this horrible time.
“The donations in such a short time have been amazing and any donation, big or small, will help Grace as she gets a little better.”
