A golden retriever who was separated from his owner for three months couldn’t contain his excitement when they were reunited.
Faithful Hugo was taken to the airport to give his owner Alexandra Owens, 29, a warm welcome home.
The personal trainer, who was in the UK for several months to visit family, flew back to Liverpool from Liverpool Sydney.
After being filmed being led to the airport with two “Welcome Home” balloons on his seat belt, Hugo seemed to understand something was going on.
But as soon as he saw his beloved Alexandra, he jumped in the air and jumped at her.
An adorable video shows Hugo nearly knocking his owner over as he jumped up to say hello after being apart for so long.
Alexandra got on her knees to greet the pup and made a fuss of him as he licked her face while he wagged his tail excitedly.

British-born Alexandra said: “I hadn’t seen my dog for over three months because I had to go home to visit family.
“People cried and also clapped when they saw us.
“The video has touched so many hearts since it went viral!”
Hugo, who has his own Instagram account with more than 1000 followers, has won thousands of hearts after people saw the cute video.
