“Lift will be dismantled and sent to junk food graveyard. It’s supposed to be replaced by Sprite Lemon, which I find a bit confusing,” he said.
The drink has offered an alternative to other popular brands like Solo and Kirks, but it appears its parent company has added the brand to its more popular Sprite range.
The Tiktok influencer said his replacement will contain caffeine, which will further sideline consumers.
He also said that Solo Lift “killed” in sales, so they decided to offer a similar product through the Sprite brand.

Comments reacted to the announcement with indifference, with many saying they preferred Solo.
“Lift changed their recipe a while ago to make it with sugar alternatives, they were probably trying to salvage it at the time,” one person replied.
‘Can’t beat Solo, that’s why nobody bought Lift! It’s a good idea that they put it under the sprite name,” added another.
Others bemoaned Lift’s ability to mix with spirits, saying Sprite tasted like “gum”.
“You can’t mix vodka and sprite… it tastes like rubber. Buoyancy is good,” a man replied.
Daily Mail Australia visited several Coles and Woolworths outlets in Sydney and could not find Lift on any shelf.
Staff said they were unaware the drink had been removed and should consult with Coca Cola Amatel.
The company was contacted for comment on Lift’s future.
