A man in his 30s was shot dead through a car window Melbourne on Wednesday afternoon after a fight between three men.
The shooting took place in the city’s South Morang suburb and sparked a huge police response.
“A firearm was fired into a car window,” said Adam West, chief police officer with Victoria Police.
“Two of the men got into a vehicle and drove away. The other man, believed to be in his 30s, suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene by emergency workers.”
