On the hunt for the elusive Sony console? Here’s where to buy it

Since its launch in 2020, the PlayStation 5 has been ridiculously difficult to source. Supply chain issues due to the coronavirus pandemic have brought production of Sony’s latest games console to a near halt.
Thankfully, things have improved massively in recent months, with the PS5 having been in stock at at least one retailer since late April Game and the BT shop, plus several independent retailers such as The game collection and scan lead the charge.
We expect this avalanche of console restocks to continue throughout the summer. But even though replenishments have become more common, buying a console is still a challenge as retailers prefer to restock bundles over the standalone console. These will be sold out in no time. Digital consoles – including bundles – are even harder to find and have basically disappeared from the face of the earth.

The cheapest PS5 bundle is in stock at Very
Unfortunately, the standalone disc edition console is out of stock very now, but the retailer still has a number of bundles available to buy this very second.
The cheapest Disc Edition bundle costs £499.99 and comes with a digital download code from horizon forbidden west, but you can also get bundles with it Forbidden West and Ratchet & Clank: Rift apart (£559.98, Very.co.uk) or Forbidden West and an additional Dualsense controller (£559.98, Very.co.uk).
