This is the shocking moment when an angry pensioner uses his walking stick as a weapon to stab a woman through a car window after he got into a traffic argument with her husband.
The elderly man, referred to as “Sid” in the video, can be seen suddenly turning his attention to 56-year-old Ali Lewis and attacking her after she began the harassment around 6:40 p.m. on August 27 to film the confrontation.
The couple had just picked up a Chinese takeaway when tempers flared between the two men in Ringwood, Hampshire.
The woman’s husband, Antony Lewis, 62, said he honked at the older man for speeding and delaying traffic.
But the pensioner was not happy with Mr Lewis and stopped to confront him for getting too close to his car. As both men collided, Ms Lewis began filming the altercation.
Though she was “shaken up,” she was unharmed despite the violent blow to her. The jab narrowly missed her face, but Ms Lewis claims her £400 Galaxy S20 phone broke.
After the incident, Ms Lewis, a retail worker, said: “It shook me. You don’t expect that. Afterwards I thought if I had been quick I could have grabbed his walking stick and pulled away.
“People need to know what he’s like.”

The man, credited as ‘Sid in the video, lunges at her, using his walking stick as a weapon and reportedly breaking her £400 phone
Meanwhile, her husband, a retail executive, explained what happened to spark the altercation. He said: “We were going down a road with a 30mph speed limit and I got stuck behind that car in front at 5mph.
“You weren’t supposed to be traveling at that speed, so I honked him with the horn. Then he hit the brakes and came to a stop in the middle of the road.
“He gets out and comes running, ranting and raving and saying, ‘You’re driving like an asshole.’ So I said to my wife, “Video that idiot.”
“Then he took the stick and hit her phone with it and broke it. It was a clear attack. Luckily he missed her face. It could have been a lot worse.
“If my wife had been hurt I would have lost it, I don’t care how many witnesses there were.
“She’s still mad about it, she lost her phone. I had to buy her a new one for £390.
Mr Lewis confirmed they will not go to the police with this. He showed the video to an officer in the city, but was told there wasn’t enough evidence to prosecute him.
“I felt sorry for his wife because he’s embarrassing,” he said in parting.
A woman believed to be the attacker’s wife was left mortified by the incident and can be heard screaming at him, “Who the hell do you think you are?”.
Antony Lewis (pictured) was initially at odds with the man holding the walking stick over his “slow driving”.
The couple can be seen turning to the woman, believed to be ‘Sid’s’ wife, who is angry at what he has just done to Ms Lewis
At the beginning of the video, the pensioner points down the road and shouts “too close” at Mr Lewis.
But things escalated even further when the man spotted Ms Lewis filming from the passenger seat, prompting him to poke his walking stick through the window and aim at her phone.
In response to the attack, Mr Lewis can be heard yelling, “Oi, get out of my car, this is an attack on my wife now”.
The pensioner showed no remorse at the time as he posed to Mr Lewis and said: “She’s taking pictures of me.”
Mr Lewis, unhappy with the man’s attack on his wife, replied: “Of course she is, you’re acting like an idiot. Go away.’
But the upset man was furious and can be heard telling him to get away. He is last seen reluctantly storming off as the woman he is yells, “Sid, for God’s sake shut up. Who the hell do you think you are for?’
Hampshire Constabulary confirmed it had not received a formal complaint about the incident.
