“There were many, many security guards all over the restaurant, but they weren’t inside [a] Private room,” said a source page sixwho said Harry and Meghan were “sitting in the middle of the busy restaurant”.
The source added that the security detail warned that anyone trying to take a picture of the royal couple would be “ordered to leave”.

Despite the warm welcome, royal security reportedly warned diners at the restaurant not to take photos of them or risk being thrown out of the restaurant (pictured).

Despite the warning, the source said Harry and Meghan made the rounds of the restaurant, greeting and drinking with other diners and wishing one another a happy birthday.
“There happened to be a birthday party at the table next to them,” the source told Page Six. “Meghan walked up to them with Harry and said, ‘I wish you a happy birthday’ to the table next to her.
“They were all stunned and just said, ‘Thank you very much.’
Another source confirmed the couple’s high spirits at the restaurant, adding that the royals enjoyed a meal of Sardinian sheep’s milk ricotta, steak tartare, Piedmontese ravioli and red wine.
The restaurant’s management did not immediately respond to DailyMail.com’s request for comment.

Harry sported a more casual look in black jeans, a navy shirt – with his arms rolled up – and gray suede trainers. He also accessorized him with two separate bracelets and a necklace, mostly hidden by his shirt.
The Duke’s relaxed appearance was in stark contrast to his keynote address at the UN General Assembly, in which he upheld the US Supreme Court’s Roe v. to overthrow Wade, branded as a “global assault on democracy and freedom.”

Though no photos were reportedly taken of them inside, the two were greeted by a crowd of photographers as they exited the restaurant

The outing came hours after Harry made a politically charged speech at the UN condemning the US Supreme Court’s decision to indict Roe v. to fall Wade
Although the event was intended to celebrate Nelson Mandela Day, the prince continued to criticize American politics.
He said: “This has been a painful year in a painful decade. We are living through a pandemic that continues to devastate communities in all parts of the world.
“Climate change is wreaking havoc on our planet, with the most vulnerable suffering the most. The few armed lies and disinformation at the expense of the many.
“And from the horrific war in Ukraine to the roll-back of constitutional rights in the US, we are witnessing a global assault on democracy and freedom, the cause of Mandela’s life.”
Harry also criticized SCOTUS for its decision to end state protections against abortion.
The comments, heard Monday morning in a largely empty room at the United Nations, were the latest broadside from US politicians.
They followed Meghan’s recent comments on the matter Fashion Magazine, in which she, along with famed feminist icon Gloria Steinem, urged men to voice their anger louder at the decision to oust Roe.
Steinem, seen with the Duchess early Monday, has recruited Meghan for her fight to get Congress to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment – a proposed amendment to the United States Constitution aimed at making all American citizens independent to guarantee equal legal rights of sex.

Meghan and Steinem, 88, were interviewed by Vogue journalist Jessica Yellin just days after SCOTUS announced its decision to oust Roe.
The royal urged the men to express their anger and revealed her husband’s reaction to the verdict was “guttural”.
Steinem, who was approached by Meghan in 2020 when the Duchess revealed she was sheltering near her California home during the pandemic, said she could confirm Harry was very interested in women’s rights.
She called the couple “chosen family.”
“His reaction last week was guttural, as was mine,” Meghan said. “I know there is a sense of desperation for so many women right now. But here, too, we must unite and not toss and turn. We have to do the work.’
Meghan argued it’s important to “normalize conversations about the things that affect our lives and our bodies,” citing her own decision to speak out about her own miscarriage in November 2020.
“This is about women’s physical safety,” she said. “It’s also about economic justice, individual autonomy and who we are as a society. No one should be forced to make a decision they do not want to make, or which is uncertain or jeopardizes their own life.”
Steinem also told Vogue that it’s important for Meghan and Harry to talk about the issue.
“It’s very, very, very important,” she said. “Because they both have faith. We trust them and nothing replaces trust. It is the most important quality or property.
“We can see things on TV and not believe or trust them. But when people like these two tell us, we trust it.”
