but Matt Hancock has quashed rumors he’s about to propose to his mistress Gina Coladangelo – and points out that’s not possible as he’s still married to Martha, the mother of his three children.
The former health minister, whose affair with his assistant cost him his wife and his post in the cabinet, insists he has another thing on his mind: climbing the highest mountain in the Alps, Mont Blanc, with Gina to raise money for to collect a new children’s hospital cambridge.

The former minister tells me that the only thing that drives him in training is “the fear of needing a little bit more strength when you’re holding on to the ice”.
Matt and Gina’s marriages were torn apart when they were filmed in a clinch in his office during lockdown, at a time when he had been urging others to keep their distance.
