Canadaprime minister Justin Trudeau was spotted with a fresh haircut after canceling a visit to an Ottawa brewery amid protests.
Mr Trudeau was pictured earlier this week with much shorter hair than usual while visiting children at a day camp in Quebec’s Gatineau Park.
Those used to his longer tresses were somewhat surprised to see him sporting the disguise, which he presented to the world in a plain white shirt and jeans on visits to the park and two Ottawa suburbs.

Since taking office in 2015, the 50-year-old has always kept his hair in the same medium-length hairstyle. It is unclear what prompted him to make the change.
His shorn locks were the big talk of the day, with several commenting on his new look.
Later in the day (Friday, July 15) he was due to visit the Etienne Brule brewery in Embrun, Ontario, which is about 30 minutes east of Ottawa. But the event was canceled before his arrival.
Around a dozen protesters had gathered across the street from the brewery, including one carrying a flag with profanity addressed to Trudeau and another recording with his phone.
Inside, the brewery was busy with parties from people inside and outside the patio. Three guests were asked to leave the property. One of them, a woman, approached the Royal Canadian Mounted Police stationed outside in plain clothes and appeared to argue with them before leaving.
Government sources have confirmed that the presence of the apparent convoy supporters was behind the decision to cancel the event.

It is the second time in less than two months that he has been forced to withdraw from a scheduled appearance in front of protesters who appear to share views similar to those of “Freedom Convoy” protesters who blocked downtown Ottawa for three weeks last winter.
He attended a fundraiser practically in May after protesters gathered outside a banquet hall in Surrey, British Columbia.
The protests were largely directed against Covid-19 vaccinations and restrictions imposed by the virus. Some have also called for him to be ousted from office.
